There are nearly 100 beach access points throughout Panama City Beach, offering access to popular spots and secluded stretches throughout the region. Visit Shell Island, a 7-mile barrier island off the coast of St. Andrews State Park for the most pristine undeveloped beaches. Outdoor enthusiasts will love a visit to Camp Helen State Park and Beach, which is a 185-acre preserve with a rare coastal dune lake, hiking trails, and picnic areas.

 

The beaches here are great for all types of activities. Enjoy sunbathing, walking, beachcombing, bodyboarding, swimming, and more. Plus there are plenty of things to do out on the water as well. Family Friendly Attractions

Panama City Beach is a destination for the entire family. One of the most iconic attractions in PCB is the Shipwreck Island Waterpark, which has been in the community since the ‘80s. This waterpark and amusement park has something for every thrill seeker in the family. Speaking of thrill-seekers, if your little ones are brave, the Cobra Adventure Park has a kids-only rollercoaster.

 

Check out the oddities at Ripley’s Believe it or Not!, play a few rounds of mini golf at the Coconut Creek Family Fun Park, or visit with the animals at Zoo World. If the family loves animals and wildlife, the Sea Dragon Pirate Cruise is a fun way to get out on the water and view dolphins and other aquatic life. If you prefer to stay on land, Seacrest Wolf Preserve offers a unique opportunity to see wolves.

There is shopping for everyone in the Panama City Beach area. Pier Park is a massive shopping, dining, and entertainment center that is a must for every visitor to the region. There are nearly 125 retail stores at Pier Park as well as a live music and entertainment stage, a Grand IMAX movie theater, and the Mirror Maze & Laser Craze park.
